About us

Glider-Rent (a sister company of Glider-Equipment) is located in Hangaar 4 at Breda International Airport (better known as Seppe Airport) along the A58 between Breda and Roosendaal.

Glider-Equipment originated from the family business Van Breemen BV (wholesaler of car materials and tools). During the 1950s, owner Fred van Breemen started gliding. He still enjoys it to this day.

In 1995 his son, Marc, took over the company and, like his father, was an avid glider pilot. Later he would start selling products for the gliding sport.

In 2006 he started the company Glider-Equipment and the site www.glider-equipment.nl has been active since 2007. Due to the growing activities within Glider-Equipment, Marc received assistance from his wife Mariska and eldest son Lars.

Lars has been an active glider pilot since he was 13 and after he got his EASA training, he began working for both companies. Another son of Marc, Tim, helps with the automation and works on the websites.

Due to having many connections with pilots and manufacturers and not to forget our own experience, Glider-Equipment scaled up and is currently deeply specialized in their products.

Glider-Equipment stands for: Service, Quality and a Competitive Price.

Experience often showed that having and maintaining your own glider is a costly affair. Therefore, in 2017 the family founded Glider-Rent BV, with the same standards: Service, Quality and a Competitive Price.

We rent out well-maintained and beautifully equipped planes, such as an ASH-25M and a number of LS4’s.
